Reiki is simple and easy to learn, and everyone has the natural ability to do so.

You do not need to be experienced in spiritual matters, nor do you need to be able to meditate. The most important thing is when starting out in Reiki that you are an open minded, and have the willingness to practice on a regular basis.

Rei, meaning “spiritual” and ki, meaning “energy”

The teachings of Usui-sensei have their origin in Tendai Buddhism and Shinto, but are accessible to persons of any or no faith. Most practitioners find their Reiki practice very helpful in understanding their spirituality in a unique personal context, as well as being beneficial for their physical or mental or even your emotional health.

Reiki as a concept can be defined in many ways and opinions among Reiki practitioners may widely vary as far as its nature is concerned. Ki can be understood as a vital force which animates all of existence and flows through all living creatures. Many Eastern cultures are familiar with the concept of ki: it is known as chi or qi in Chinese and as prana in Sanskrit.
Reiki’s approach to the understanding of ki is a simple one. When ki is allowed to flow freely and unimpeded through one’s body, then a natural state of well-being is experienced. The strong and unrestricted flow of ki throughout one’s body results is good health, a calm mind and experienced high energy levels. However due to the stress of modern day living, it is easy for one’s ki to become weakened and blocked, resulting in poor health, anxiety, depression and exhaustion.
Traditionally, the practice is centred on building awareness of one’s ki and working with different methods (meditation, breathing and hands on healing) to ensure health and vitality on all levels. Different people may be drawn to Reiki for various reasons and the practice has a positive impact on your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. When an attunment is done a new healer is awakened. When passing them on you will feel both an honour in giving and a privilege in receiving.

A course manual is provided with your teachings and a certificate is given at the end of each course which you can put on your public liability insurance.
Most insurance company's will often put it under ITEC when insuring you.

LEARNING REIKI ONE (What to expect)
This course is designed for new beginners or those that are wishing to learn more about Reiki.
You don't have to be spiritual or believe in a faith Reiki is not all about that. Traditionally there are 4 attune ments done on this course. It is done over a two day course. 2 attune ments will be given on day one and two the next day. Treatments are a sacred and special ceremony that bonds the healing energy's to you.

After you have completed Reiki 1 you then receive a certificate that will enable you to safely practice it in your treatments. If you do not have a practice it does not matter you can practice it on your friends, family, animals or self treatments for yourself.

REIKI TWO (What to expect) Recommended after 3 mnts from taking the First degree
This course is designed for those that have all ready taken there level one. You will learn how to send some distant healing and strengthening the healing ability's that you have gained. By doing level 2 you are gaining further knowledge and insight into the potential that reiki has to offer you will learn 3 of the 5 symbols in this section and remember there are traditionally 5 symbols taught in which you will learn all 5 in reiki 3, you will then be able to successfully become a teacher.
Traditionally there is only one attunment for Reiki two.

REIKI 3 (What to expect)  Recommended to take after a year to three years after the second degree
TEACHERS/MASATERS LEVEL(So you can teach others and learn all 5 symbols and completion)
Reiki 3 will enable you to teach and become a master at Reiki. You will learn the last 2 symbols and have the reassurance that you are well on your way to a good career and helping others.
Traditionally there are three attunments given in Reiki Three. This can be done in one day but I usually feel that 2 days is adequate and to also space the attunments out. Also if people have not done there Reiki one and two with you it gives them more of a chance to recap on things that may not be fully understood. Also it is the perfect way and a chance to feel confidence in what you are doing.
How to Perform the symbols and being taught the two last symbols that was not covered in Reiki two as this will be very important as a teacher.

Reiki is a gift for life you can use it to heal yourself and others, it is well worth doing a 21 day cleanse and detox from your body after you do Reiki and this should be noted, it is part of the minds body and soul, a cleanse. You will feel great from this and really will love the benefits and see from your own eyes the true meanings and what reiki is about.
You will be asked to write notes on your experiences within this 21 days and after the 21 days I would like you to write a testament on how you feel and what you have learnt.

REIKI COURSE DATES AND PRICES
Reiki courses are accommodated for week ends generally but if there are 2 guests then this can be changed for a time that suits you.
Reiki courses are designed for only between 2 to 6 people on a course this enables you to answer any questions and to receive the best input and knowledge from your teacher.
Booking your reiki courses you are required to pay a deposit of £50.00 to
secure your booking.
