WHAT IS A FACIAL?
A facial means having a "deep-cleansing facial" or a "deep-pore cleansing" 
A facial consists of cleansing, ex-foliation and nourishment to the skin to promote and enhance clear and well-hydrated skin. A facial is the second most popular spa treatment after massage. You should never over do facials you should have one once a month or every fortnight which would be sufficient.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A FACIAL TREATMENT?
A full consultation will be carried out to determine your skin type.
Your hair will be tied back before the treatment begins.
Using sponges and cotton pads. Your skin will be washed using a facial wash followed by ex foliation then another cleanse, toner oils, eye serums, day creams or youth serums. Sounds like a lot of products but you really will fall in love with these unique products.
You will look and feel fantastic afterwards.
You will expect your skin to be massaged in an upward circular movement, whilst the clay mask is on for about 10 minutes you can experience either a shoulder and neck massage, or indulge in a Indian head massage or some people may like to experience Reiki, what ever you choose it is your treatment. Some people may like to just rest during this process.
You will be guided throughout the treatment what is happening and with the products educating you along the way.
Having a facial is such a luxurious way to treat your skin. The skin is the most vital part of the body's anatomy so we should all look after it once in a while.
The skin is responsible for regulation of temperature, excretion of waste, immune response and protection of the underlying tissues are among the many functions of the skin.
The skin absorbs oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen in small amounts. It absorbs many of the chemicals that are in the environment such as pollution and chemicals from body care and cleaning products.
At a healing touch we only use the most natural of products which will give your skin the nutrients in which it needs.

  • Just having a facial should make you feel pampered, and most facials will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed, and your skin feeling softer and cleaner.
PRODUCTS USED?
Only natural products are used Barefoot products from the Rosa fina, range. Green tea and sugar scrub for the ex foliation which has an antioxidant effect on the skin. 
All products are suitable for the most sensitive of skins.

Rosa fina range ingredients they use are highly therapeutic the Rosa mosqueta oil is pressed from the seeds of a wild Chilean rose. This precious ingredient is clinically proven to dramatically reduce wrinkles, stretch marks and scar tissue, leaving the skin smooth, firm & radiant. Fullers earth products are used for the mask. Fuller's earth is a clay-like material made from aluminium silicate. It has many uses including deodorizing, filtering and purifying. It is especially effective at soaking up grease-based dirt whether it's on skin, fabric, upholstery, or other surfaces.
